As A Base Coat For Mascara:

Saturate a cotton pad: Use a gentle, oil-based eye makeup remover. We recommend Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover for its effectiveness and gentleness on the delicate eye area. Avoid harsh rubbing or tugging, which can damage your lashes. 2. Hold the pad: Place the saturated cotton pad over your closed eye and hold gently for a few seconds to allow the makeup remover to dissolve the primer. This will loosen the product and make it easier to remove without pulling. Gentle downward strokes: Gently wipe the cotton pad downwards along your lashes, from root to tip. Repeat this motion a few times until all traces of the primer are gone. Avoid back-and-forth scrubbing, as this can weaken your lashes. 3. I've used it for years and won't ever stop
I love that it has conditioning vitamins and nutrients for lashes. It is effective at giving me fullness, volume, and lash lengthening. I let it dry a little bit before i go in with my regular mascara, and it extends the wear and life of my mascara. If you make a mistake with this or accidentally touch your lid, it doesn't matter, it won't show up.

works well for colorful mascara
(I got this mascara primer to use under the Maybelline Sky High colorful mascaras, and the Sunset Makeup colorful mascaras, so this review is specifically about that.) I've used it under the Sky High and Sunset mascaras five times now and each time it has definitely helped the colors to show up much more vividly on my dark eyelashes. I'm impressed at how much it boosts my eye makeup without needing to use strip lashes or clusters. This primer does not have much of a white tint, but that turned out to not matter. It did a good job increasing length and volume with the fibers, so when I applied mascaras on top of it, the colors showed up much bolder than they do without it. I would recommend using an eyelash comb to prevent the layered mascara from clumping at the tips. It's definitely pricey but I've used other mascara primers before (including K-beauty ones) and I unfortunately like this one the most lol.
