After using Total Results Brass Off shampoo, wearing suitable gloves, apply to wet hair and comb through for even distribution. 2. Avoid scalp area and leave on for 5-10 minutes depending on desired neutralization. 5 minutes for subtle neutralization, 10 minutes for maximum neutralization. 3. Rinse out. *It is not recommended to use the mask everyday because of it's highly pigmented formula. Why do the directions say to avoid the scalp area? My whole head gets brassy and I dont want the ends to be toned while the roots arent.

This product is amazing I have blonde hair and this neutralised my yellow. It also gave me clean blonde. My only concern is it's quite thick, therefore quite heavy, for my thin hair But being a mask it will be used once a week. Defiantly recommend for any lightened hair.

I have used this about 3-4 times now and while it does work with neutralizing the brassy tones in my hair, I have noticed that my hair is dryer and my nails have become dry, weak and brittle as well from application. Saved me from box dye!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
This product saved me from running to the nearest drugstore and frying all my hair off trying to tone my hair at home. I've gotten highlights in my hair since I was a teenager. My hair was colored red at the salon from 2019-2020 (the "girl goes to college and dyes her hair red" phase), but then I missed my blonde hair, so I decided to lighten again. After several salon trips and bleachings, I was platinum. This obviously destroyed my hair. For the past two years, I've just been trying to get my natural texture back and have healthier hair. At the end of last year, I still had some lingering bleach, so I got it filled and colored to a dark ash blonde/light brown. I've been maintaining my hair at home since, but the brass has been awful from the fill! I was so desperate that I was going to tone and color my hair at home. My friends talked me out of it and told me to use a color depositing shampoo or mask. I used purple masks when I was platinum, but I felt like they didn't do anything for me. Imagine my shock when I woke up this morning and saw my hair! These pictures are taken exactly a day apart and in the same room and lighting. Definitely use this if you are a dark blonde/brunette battling orange tones. I clarified my hair twice when I used this, towel dried, then combed through. I let it sit for about an hour (the bottle says 5 or 10 mins, YMMV). It is super blue, so make sure to use gloves or wash your hands with hot water right away. I have not noticed staining on my skin or shower.

If your looking for a single treatment to brighten your blonde this is it! Very concentrated so it's effective with just one use. Great product to keep on hand if your looking to brighten things up easily 
Great mask
I recently started getting my dark brown, almost black hair colored to cover my grays. My natural hair tone was neutral, leaning cool. However, after dying my hair, it started to read warm, with red undertones. I had my stylist make the formula a little cooler this last time, but she also suggested I try a blue shampoo to keep my hair more neutral. I decided to purchase this mask as opposed to a shampoo because I thought this might be more hydrating - which it definitely is. The first time I used this, I followed it with my normal conditioner as recommended, but my hair came out really greasy. I just tried it a second time without conditioning afterwards and it is perfect. My hair is super soft and I can see a difference in the tone of my hair. I left it in for about 10 minutes covered by a shower cap. I'm going to continue using this probably twice a month. For as long as this will last me, it is a good value.
