Not was I was hoping for
I have extremely dry lips and was looking for a replacement for Avene's Cold Cream balm (old formula). This product had so many positive reviews that I though it would be worth a try. Worth every penny.
First time use changed my lips in two hours. This was recommended by one of the ulta associates and it did exactly what they said it would in record time. My lips were chapped and so broken it hurt to smile, then I bought this lucky bean and they were restored crazy fast.

Love the Reformulation
I know a lot of people don't really like the reformulated version of this product, but I absolutely love it. I was on the hunt for a product that would heal my lips while experiencing an allergic reaction to another product, and this was the only thing that has healed my lips. I have used so many lip products, but this is now a favorite product (and I never really leave reviews so I REALLY like this). I am so thankful that I gave this a try.
Reformulated
I loved the previous version because it WORKED!!! It was a cream and did leave a bit of white cast but blended in very easily. I guess too many people complained and now it js a lip balm NOT cream. Therefore, NOT the same. Why cant they have both versions? Whereas the cream only needed to be applied once and let set into the lips the balm stays moist and doesn't set. This tends to dissipate as gloss does, needing more reapplication… keeping my fingers crossed that it will still do the job.

It keeps my lips healthy anytime theyre dry, my lips feel normal after using the avene lip balm. I have not found any cons. It also gives a bit of a lip gloss effect which i love, so i use it throughout the day. I have very sensitive/eczema prone skin and cicalfete line has been the best discovery. Worth checking out
