I was really scared reading the reviews for this product update. I've been using this face wash for a long time and it works great. When someone said it wasn't the same I panicked. I went to my local shop to get a sample and it was totally different. I said, there's no way it changed that much. They must have given me a sample of the wrong product. I took a chance when it was on sale for Christmas and bought. Thank goodness I did, because it the same great product!

Like many of the other reviewers, I too used the previous Zero Oil cleanser. Unlike some of them, I enjoy the new formula with more salicylic acid and the addition of charcoal. It rinses clean, keeps my skin clear (with a facial brush) and frankly smells great (like a minty herbaceous scent). I appreciate Origins' ability to make a gel cleanser where a little bit goes a long way; a small amount gives good lather. I think a lot of the other reviewers are being a bit dramatic and are just upset about the natural turnover of a product's life cycle. This is a solid cleansing choice for those with oilier skin types.

You took a beloved, proven formula and redesigned it for the worse, hoping to capitalize on a burgeoning charcoal trend. You took a clear, translucent, and compact package and made it uglier, taller, and opaque. This is Tropicana-level marketing failure.
