Game changer, can't imagine my routine without it!

First off, I didn't know Manes by Mell was behind this product, I just realized this when I came back to purchase more. I came across it when I was out of town, ran out of product, and made a mad dash to find something to get me through the trip and last for a bit after I got home. I tend to look fo...

Disappointed :(

I am a huge fan of Mel's and have learned so much from her videos. I was SO pumped for this product to drop! I wanted to love this soo badly, but honestly it is just a huge flop for me. This product has consistently given me my LEAST successful wash days and it has already been retired to my shelf ...

Terrible texture for my 3B hair

It was fine at first but it just became crunchy on my very curly hair. I'm not sure what happened but, don't recommend buying. Plus it was made in Israel apparently so. No.

new formula is AWFUL

the original product was perfect. it was lightweight and gave me just enough hold for bouncy curls without frizz. they changed the formulation with absolutely no warning: it's not even the same thing anymore, the original was much more mousse-like. i decided to give it a chance and the first thing i noticed was an AWFUL smell. it smells like cooking grease that someone tried to clean/cover up with lemon pine-sol. the product itself is now a watery, slimy gel that made my hair super frizzy in parts and super sticky in others! curlsmith's volume mousse is infinitely better, and not your mother's mousse is also great for anyone on a budget.

New formula

My last bottle of this was much better in just about every way. This new formula gives me barely any cast and my hair is flat and lifeless on day 2, plus feels weighed down. My hair will look decent for the first couple hours after styling, then it's just downhill from there. Not a fan of this new formula, at all.

New formulation is bad

The original formula (in frosted bottle) was awesome and worked well for my fine hair. The new formulation (in the orange bottle) is thicker and makes my hair heavy and lifeless no matter how much or how little I use. The scent is also much stronger.
