I have extremely seriously sensitive areas on my face especially around my chin and the creases of my smile, I have to use a steroid cream for those areas just because they get really irritated super easy, but I think my skin is getting really adapted to it so it's not working as well and I need a new face cream because the one I thought was doing really good for me starting to irritate my skin again and I tried this cream and I haven't even had to use my steroid cream like it really healed me up, I'm extremely excited that I found something that doesn't irritate my sensitive areas and if anything has made it look better than the steroid cream does

I love creams that are specifically targeted for those with sensitive skin. I do not have eczema, but I do deal with rosacea and sensitive skin and am always looking for products that do not attribute to or aggravate flare ups. The Sensitive Skin Relief Eczema Therapy Cream Colloidal Oatmeal Skin Protectant by Olay is meant to treat and protect flaky and irritated skin. It's a thick cream without any fragrances which as someone with sensitive skin, is very appreciated. It has colloidal oatmeal, a favorite trusted ingredient of mine that soothes irritated skin. I deal with hives from time to time and this was a great help to apply as it soothed and cooled them immediately. It also contains vitamin b3, that helps hydrate and slightly exfoliate, as well as amino peptides to help skin stay firm and smooth. It also contains Niacinamide, another personal favorite ingredient I use to tackle rosacea as it reduces redness. However, I found myself using this product mostly on my body, as an aftershave for my legs, for dry patches of skin, or to calm down a hive flare up. I did not use this on my face because I have sensitive skin and saw that this does contain alcohol which is an aggravator towards my rosacea. Knowing my skin and what ingredients to avoid, I skipped out on using it on my face but I still enjoyed the moisture and relief it gave to my itchy skin on my body. The cream is thick, so expect it to not soak into the skin as much, but I don't mind as I use thicker ointments at times such as over the counter hydrocortisone creams. Overall, this is a good item to have in your skincare rotation if you deal with irritated itchy skin. As a sensitive skin gal with rosacea, I would not personally recommend to use it as a face cream due to the alcohol in its ingredient list. But if alcohol is not an irritant to your skin, it can provide moisture and soothe dryness with the 1.0% colloidal oatmeal. I will continue to use on my body when dealing with dry itchy legs or whenever I have a hive breakout.
