This scent most definitely has a powdery hint to it. I loathe a powdery smell so this is not for me. It makes you think of baby powder. I no longer have to change diapers so I don't want to smell anything like baby powder. It's just not for me.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday and we both love how it smells so much. Cedarwood is a deep grounding scent and it's very forward without being overwhelming. Definitely his new favorite.

I had never tried Montblanc Explorer Platinum before and I'm so glad I got to it for this review. I generally LOVE fragrances. I have loved great smells from childhood (still remember smelling flowers and intensely enjoying it). However, I have a very narrow-accepting taste when it comes to fragrances. I have only a handful of fragrances that I continually use and intensely like al of them. I'm so glad that Montblanc Explorer Platinum has been added to those. It has a mix of aromatic and woody as dominant notes and lasted for a long time. I could still smell it after 10+ hours of application. Overall, I highly recommend it!

This Montblanc explorer platinum is a great scent. It is masculine and has a little powder scent. I like it because it gives me just enough fresh and clean smell with a hint of wood. I have received many compliments and it will definitely last a long time because you only need and little and it last all day.
