My first impression of this lip oil is the beautiful plush lip applicator. Love love LOVE. It hugs the lips perfectly. AND that it smells like mint! I'm not a fan of my lip products having a scent. It is not as powerful as the Patrick Ta sparkly lip plumper cinammon scent that has that lasting power...

Not as shiny as I thought it would be. Depends a lot on what what color you have underneath it

Even though the oil slips off and transfer pretty easy, but how can you criticize Elf for giving us such accessible price with great shine and color.
looks pretty, feels gritty
this elf lip oil looks so pretty on the lips! somewhat pigmented, has a nice shimmer that isn't too overpowering, but also is visible, and isn't sticky. my only problem is that it feels slightly gritty because of the glitter, and has a smell that is kind of chemically. overall, pretty good for the price
