Overhyped and not worth
I bought the elf skin tint SPF 50 in shade 3 fair cool. Immediately it feels like a thick sunscreen. Like one of those zinc sunscreens that dont quite blend into the skin it just sits on top of the skin. I can literally take a napkin and wipe it all off. I am getting older, almost 30 & my wrinkles are alive and well. I was worried about this settling into my fine lines. I read some reviews of how this skin tint is actual trash. I dont know if its a mixture of my skin prep or just the tint alone. Ive had it on for several hours, close to 7. I keep getting compliments. I see it settling into fine lines now but it still looks so beautiful & lumionous. Yea, you can see my wrinkles but youd see them with $50+ dior foundation too. I absolutely will repurchase based on the look of the skin tint after HOURS in and out of the AZ sun, and the way my other products worked with it. I might ditch foundation forever. I hope this skin tint continues to be the best, because i love it after the firsr wear.
Good and bad
I think this product would be great for beach/pool days as it is 80 min water resistant. I plan on keeping it in my beach bag for touch ups (whilst still wearing actual spf underneath). However, it clings to dry patches, is itchy, and isn't quite as glowy as advertised.
