Is this product confirmed to be vegan? I see acetate in the ingredients list, which can be sourced from either animal or non-animal sources.

Our products do not contain or use in their manufacture any animal-derived ingredients except lanolin, beeswax, sodium chondroitin sulfate, and atelocollagen. Lanolin is a natural by-product of processing sheep’s wool after it has been shorn, beeswax is a natural by-product of honeybees discarded in the hive, neither causing any harm to the animals, and the latter two ingredients are of marine origin. Our products do not contain any bovine, ovine, porcine, or caprine tissues, nor fluids from the encephalon, the spinal cord or the eyes, or any other ingredient or material presenting risks of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSEs). I bought this a month ago and let me tell you this serum is a miracle it has made my nail stronger and grow faster. I have never had my nail this long in a month this is my result, I will buy my second bottle. The price and this result it's not bad at all.

It is very easy to use , just pump a few drops on your nails . I apply it every evening before going to bed. My nails are very dry and brittle, I believe this serum helps to nourish them . I hope when the bottle is finished , I will be impressed by the result.
GREAT PRODUCT FOR YOUR NAILS
i bought this product to use as a base coat for my nails to make them stronger and help prevent chipping and cracking. I use it with the Essie gel polish which does not require a UV light to dry your nails. So far my nails are holding up well and are strong and not chipping.
30 years of use… there's a reason I kept coming back!!!
I have been using this as a base coat for my nail color for 30 years now. Yes, I've tried other products, including other Sally Hansen "improved" or "miracle" formulas. And it always takes a few weeks before I question, "Why are my nails breaking/splitting?" Then, I remember I switched basecoats from this, and the new one clearly doesn't serve me as well. Don't forget that it takes WEEKS for your nails to really show the evidence if a new product is working. This won't fix your already splitting nails, but will help the base at your cuticle to grow out strong for beautiful nails in 3+ weeks. Even though it's cheap and the bottle looks unassuming, I KEEP COMING BACK to this product. I have the longest natural nails of any of my friends & family, and I attribute that to this product. My recommendations: 1) Use just one coat of this as a basecoat under your favorite color polishes. It dries quickly, so you can continue with your color coats. It will also protect your nail from ugly yellowing that can happen when you paint directly on the nail. 2) I generally re-do my nails every 12-14 days. It may not be the longest lasting basecoat on the market, but brittle nails will cause even more frequent chipping & changes anyway. 3) Give it time!! Try this for at least a month before you declare if works for you or not. 4) If you're taking a break from color, I would still keep a coat of this on to maintain the strength you've built. I like this product, it seems to make my nails not break as much (which is what it is supposed to do)! I will be trying this product again at some point!
