Supple, soft and Healthy looking!!

I am so satisfied with Cerave's Foaming Oil Cleanser. It is easy to use and quite unique as you need to wet your face to activate the oil. I first used it to wash the makeup off my face and I have to say, it did a good job dissolving and removing it. As I usually do a double wash, I wet my face a...

Good Product, Not For Me

I love Cerave as a brand and I was excited to try out a new oil cleanser. Fragrance-Free is always what I look for in skin care. I do a two-step cleansing process and use oil cleansers as the first step. This cleanser is good at getting off all of my makeup and sunscreen. The downside for me is that...

Great product for my combo skin!

I personally really like this cleanser, and it seems to work really well on my acne prone oily/combo skin. Some people in other reviews have complained it's not a true oil cleanser. While I do agree that it's more water based and not a full on oil, it is much more gentle on the skin than other foaming face washes because it does have some oil in it. It's almost like an oily soap? I like this because I think an actual oil cleanser would break me out. My face gets so dry in the winter to the point I am unable to use my acne wash (Panoxyl and La Roshe) as often, so I started using this and it's helped with my dryness so much and didn't cause me to breakout more. I break out very very easily too. If you have combo skin this is perfect for maintaining hydration on dry spots and getting rid of excess oil on oiler spots.

You get what you pay for!

My parents used to say, "You get what you pay for". This was sticky, gooey, not refreshing at all and made my skin feel dry and unclean. With everything going up, up and up i thought I'd try something less costly but even this was too much money for what I feel was lower quality. We deserve better people!

I am on my third bottle of this. I like to use this to wash my makeup off at night. It never leaves my skin dry and flaky and it gets the job done. It lathers nicely and makes my face feel smooth and clean afterwards.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Too drying for me

I ran out of my usual facial cleanser (Vanicream) and decided to try this one out. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. The liquid is very thin and did not foam well, so I felt like I needed to use more to cover my face. Immediately after rinsing, my face felt tight. It didn't not feel hydrating at all to me. I gave it an extra star because the scent is inoffensive and it seemed to clean well, but I won't repurchase. Back to my trusty Vanicream.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
