Why do I feel a burning sensation after applying? Is this normal? I applied it last night before bed and didn't notice anything, I applied again today after a shower and feel a lot of burning.

No pain, no gain
I have struggled with cellulite for years- I am 30 years old, exercise regularly, eat well and keep hydrated, but unfortunately my genetics have cursed me with the most stubborn cellulite on my butt and thighs. Oh holy moly. I have never felt a sensation quite like this - it feels like my skin is currently being roasted upon a flame, after getting a horrible sunburn. It's really that bad. I actually am going to throw it away to save myself from being tempted to try again; honestly ladies, maybe cellulite is not so bad to live with - certainly its OK in comparison to this horrible painful BURNING SENSATION that just keeps going! Good lord I've never felt something so awful.
Intense burning
This feels like you are standing uncomfortably close to an open flame with the worst sunburn of your life. I do not know how this is possibly sold without a HUGE disclaimer about how much it burns. Despite washing it off within 10 minutes of application, it burned horribly for over an hour. I do not care what results are boasted, i will never try anything from this brand again. It was way more painful than expected.
Works but there is a catch !!
Ive been using this for a few months but only once a day. First the burning sensation is almost non existent if you wait the 20 minutes it says to on the packaging. If you wait 30 in my experience there is no burning at all. Second, it did help minimize the look of cellulite on my skin (bum and thighs) making the skin look firmer and smoother BUT the results are temporary! Its not going to miraculously cure your cellulite but it will minimize it for at least the days you apply it. It is kinda falsely advertised in that sense, mostly to try encourage you to over apply and therefore sell more. Also if you look at their clinical study its pretty poor. So my suggestion would be to only use it when you want that area to look firmer, not necessarily twice daily.
Test before you apply all over!
I was so happy to get this product however it BURNS! I needed to take a cold shower and wash it off.
