Apply to eyelids using fingertips or an eyeshadow brush prior to eyeshadow and liner application.

I know that powder eyeshadow with a shimmery finish does not look good on older eyes. Since this primer has a shimmer finish, does it look ok on older, crepey eyes? I wanted to use the primer alone as a shadow. Thank you.

I think there was a mix up.
About a month ago I recieved the Inner Glow eye primer as a sample as a free gift with purchase. I loved the product but it was warm toned and not shimmery which I thought was odd as it says it should be, but I liked the matte look alot. I went and purchased the full size and received a totally different product. It is shimmery and cool toned. Upon seeing the Matte Veil eye primer, I believe Ulta gave out samples of it in the wrong Inner Glow packaging accidentally. Both products are great, but the mix up is very confusing.
Disappointed
I received a sample size of this as part of a 'free gift'. I really liked it! It was orangey/pink; had a tacky feeling; wasnt shimmery but was glowy in a way + the color helped to hide dark circles; it actuallt reminds me of my dermalogica skin primer that is the only primer ive ever liked on my face. It worked great and I really liked it! … Imagine my disappointment when I start to run low on my sample size so I excitedly order a full size, only to open it up and find a COMPLETELY different product. What bothers me the most, is that the 'free gift' I received was still very recent… why would you give customers something to try if it doesnt even exist anymore????
Lovely Shimmer
I like this product a lot. The shimmer, Champagne, lasts all day. Ulta used to have a peach color which I used all the time. It has been discontinued. I would love to see it return.
Sooo good
I've tried so many eyeshadow primers including high end brands and this is hands down my favorite! The tiniest amount is all that I need to prime both lids and my eyeshadow doesn't move. I have deep skin so I don't use this alone as it looks a bit dull but I use it with all different eyeshadow looks. I do my eyes first thing in my makeup routine and this is my first step. Whatever the shadow looks like in the case is how it looks on my eyes when I use this primer. My absolute fav!
I would have never known
Ive looked high and low for a shadow/primer of some sort that woukd work as a one and done when i dont wear shadow….i think ive bought everything under the sun, high end, drug store, mac paint pots…. Then i get this little guy as a free gift-of course i shurgged it off as they hsve all been disappointing. Decided to try it tonight before washing my face-wow it's beautiful
