LOVE!
I love vanilla scents, but so many are too sweet, heavy, buttery and cloying to wear in Florida's almost endless summer heat. I never smelled the og, but according to descriptions, it looks like it was another example of a heavy vanilla. But no matter, because I happen to love this amber juice in the pink glass bottle! It's not heavy at all. It's a light, fresh, "floaty" vanilla which is perfect for layering and wearing in the swampy Florida heat! They still offer the og on their website, but I'm completely won over by this one! It lasts longer than you think. If you spray your pulse points, wait 5 minutes, the spray again, the scent lasts (at least on me) a full four hours. For a freshie tastey vanilla at this price point, I find that level of performance quite commendable!
Idk why everybody is complaining!
I love this scent! It has summer vibes and is very pleasant. It doesnt smell exactly like the hair and body mist but its close enough to pair with one another. It lasts on the skin and clothes, too!
SCENT CHANGED
I have worn Island Vanilla for YEARS faithfully. I have owned every iteration theyve ever came out with from perfume to body scrub to hand cream. Trust me when i say this: IT DOES NOT SMELL THE SAME in this new bottle. The formula has been changed. It is noticeably different and not as good and i had to stop wearing my SIGNATURE SCENT. All the Island Vanilla girlies are sad. Hopefully Pacifica gets the message and changes the formula back.

I have been using pacifica for like 10+ years now. They got rid of my dreamy youth face cream ive been using for 7 years and now this. This perfume is my #1 scent in the world over any scent its my favorite vanilla and girl it last so long its crazy. Oh pacifica, must have ran into some manufacturing issues bcuz why would you change the smell, the longevity. quality is trash. Please pacifica listen to your customers they DONT LIKE THIS ISH!!! Change back old formulas!!! I also use the pacifica vanilla body wash and thats not it anymore. You have nothing but bad reviews on all your products since this new line you launched. Dont fix whats not broken!! Sad face
