It's lovely but not for everyone

I wanted to love it. It goes on beautifully. It doesn't pill, it doesn't leave a white cast. It has a very pleasant, light, fresh fragance. It is very hydrating. And it made my face swell all over. Clearly I'm allergic to some ingredient(s). So, it's a no for me.

If you are allergic to the plant goldenrod, avoid. Everything else about this sunscreen is wonderful. No white cast, moisturizing, not greasy, no sunburn.

Drying

I wanted to love this. I am on the hunt for a daily mineral sunscreen that looks good under makeup. This was drying even after normal skin prep. It also has a slight smell I couldn't get past.

i have oily acne prone and sensitive skin so finding a good sunscreen is difficult for me. i'd been using the one from bubble for over a year and i really like it, but it leaves my skin slightly too greasy for my liking in the summer. i wanted to try this one for the higher spf and to see if it has a better finish. it definitely has a much better skin like finish for me which is fantastic and i love that it's spf 50 however there are 2 big issues: 1) this is very much a hybrid sunscreen in everything except name—it only has 10% zinc oxide and uses a chemical SPF "booster" called butyloctyl salicylate which has a very similar molecular structure to octisalate. the only difference is octisalate is an FDA approved sunscreen filter and butyloctyl salicylate isn't, so brands can add it in and not have it listed as an active ingredient. the bubble sunscreen has the same issue, but that one doesn't sting my face. this one does. it only stings on application and for 1-2 minutes after, but it's still not ideal; i worry that it might be irritating my skin because of the higher concentration of the chemical SPF booster. 2) even though there's no fragrance listed, it definitely has a strong smell that lingers all day. i've never had this happen before. the first time i wore it i thought i was going insane because it smells VERY similar to the perfume milk by dedcool, which is a perfume i have and really like but i wasn't wearing it that day. turns out it was my face. it's happened every day that i've worn it so far, which is 3 or 4 days. so even though it's *almost* perfect, i don't think it's the one for me because of those 2 big reasons. not sure if i'll return it, but i'm going to try the cetaphil one next.

Hands down the best sunscreen! I have tried many and this is the best one, it does not make me greasy and just feels like lotion.

The best sunscreen I've found in a while

I'm always nervous to try new sunscreens because I have sensitive skin, sensitive eyes, & rosacea. So far, I really like this sunscreen. It doesn't burn my eyes, and it doesn't have a white cast or a strong smell. I think it would work for deeper skin tones

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
