Step 1: Apply gel polish & cure. Leave the final coat a bit sticky.
Sept 2: Apply a small amount of chrome powder with brush applicator.
Step 3: Apply gel topcoat & cure.
OR
Step 1: Apply Le Mini Macaron 1-step gel polish and cure all nails as usual (30 sec with mini lamp OR 60 sec with maxi lamp), but after applying the second coat of gel polish cure for only half the usual time (about 15 seconds) leaving it a bit sticky. This is so the chrome powder will adhere to the gel polish better. We recommend using Milkshake for a true pearlescent shade with subtle pink undertones (the glazed donut effect)! Polish all nails before applying the powder to each nail.
Sept 2: Dip the sponge applicator into the chrome powder to pick up a small amount, then pat firmly over each nail. Dip sponge applicator into chrome powder again when necessary, but only as needed. Rub the nails lightly to ¨buff¨ powder into gel.
Step 3: Gently wipe nails with a clean tissue or fluffy brush to remove excess powder. We recommend using Le Softie (dust brush). You can also use Le Clean (liquid nail cleanser) to clean up the cuticles and sides of nails. Then apply and cure two thin layers of topcoat, curing each coat the full time (30 sec with mini lamp OR 60 sec with maxi lamp). And you're done!
Precautions: Gel Polish: For use on nails only. Avoid contact with skin. Follow instructions for application and removal. Do not use on infected or damaged nails. Avoid all contact with eyes and mouth. In case of accidental contact, rinse with water. If symptoms worsen, contact a doctor immediately. Keep away from children. Store in room temperature environment, in dry location, away from heat, heated surfaces and sunlight.
Gel polish: Acrylates Copolymer, Acryloyl Morpholine, Pentaerythrityl tetramercaptopropionate, Ethyl trimethylbenzoyl phenylphosphinate, Dimethicone.; Chrome Powder: Calcium Aluminium Borosilicate,Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide.; Brush stick: birch; Brush: Nylon(polyamide)+Sponge.

This is COOL!
I LOVE chrome polishes but could never do my nail polish without streaks from the brush. Until now! You can use this over any color. I used a light pink and it gave me the prettiest pink metallic polish. I did not try it by itself so not sure if you could get full silver alone, or if you would need ...

Neat but...
OK, as you all know this polish is NOT CHEAP! So, this chrome kit is adorable, but it takes a couple attempts to perfect. The main reason I refuse to repurchase is because you end up wasting it all just practicing! So I am unsatisfied with this item.

Cool Metallic Effect
I finally had time to figure out how to do this on my nails. It was pretty easy but the process is not perfect. You'll need your own color of gel for the base and a gel lamp. I think it looks cool although not perfect. Last long and hasn't chipped easily after following instructions to do two top coats. I've never been one to like to spend my money on my nails so for the money saved and an at home chrome kit, I approve.

The kit works very well. I apply the power right after the 2 layer, then I apply a top coat to secure the powder. If you follow the correct steps, they last. But also keep your hands away from excess moisture.
