Dampen the essence Makeup And Baking Sponge with water before use. To use the Makeup And Baking Sponge for baking, start by applying your favorite essence foundation and concealer as usual.
Next, dip the flat side of the sponge into your loose powder and press it onto the areas you want to "bake" (typically under the eyes, on the chin, and on the forehead).
Leave the powder on for a few minutes before sweeping away the excess with a brush. To use the Makeup and Baking Sponge to apply foundation, simply apply a small amount of foundation onto the back of your hand or onto the sponge itself. Then, using a bouncing motion, dab the rounded sides of the sponge onto your skin, blending the foundation outwards until it's seamlessly blended.

Great Blending Sponge
This is a steal! It is a great blending sponge in my opinion. It is firmer than a Beauty Blender, but I actually kind of like that. Also, it has a great "chisel" tip that lets you get in smaller areas, like under the eyes or around the nose. I love the price, and find the shape is very functional. ...

Too hard but cheap
This sponge is a super cute color and provides a nice edge for small places like under the eye. Unfortunately it's too dense and hard to wet and squeeze out properly. If you aren't a beginner you can still make it work but it's a challenge. The price point is so low it's almost worth it.

I love this sponge so much. I use it to blend liquid foundation, liquid bronzer, and liquid blush. I have an actual Beauty Blender sponge and it absolutely SUCKS compared to this Essence sponge!!

Love using this one dry with my oil based foundation! I used it wet when I first got it with another foundation and it was a horrible experience. Too stiff, no bounce in wet form. The bad reviews make sense. However it is quite amazing dry TBH.

Sixty years young and my first sponge. I love it. I purchased the baby got blush cream blushes - they are FABULOUS- and I was able to easily apply and spread the product effortlessly. The value is very good. The quality of the sponge was nice and I like that it can easily get into the corner of your eyes to help set concealer. Nice purchase!

I really wanted to like this sponge but it's just not it. It is so dense and doesn't blend things out well at all. I prefer a spongier, more porous sponge. They just blend better.
