First off, I must say that the photos of Gilded Lily suck! In one of the photos, the colors look like they are very orange. And forget about figuring out from the photos what the shimmer level is. Why can't they swatch the four colors on different shades of skin? Sorry for the rant. In actuality, Gi...

    In Bloom too sparkly

If you love bling-y eye shadow, this is for you. Sadly, all 4 shadows in the In Bloom quad are sparkly, not what I expected or wanted. Not a single matte in the bunch either to use as a base or crease shade. The shades themselves are pretty, if only they didn't have all that glitter in them. This pa...

These colors are so pretty!! I cant wait to try them out. I got the palette called "In Bloom", even though I normally like darker shades better. Very happy!

I tried the Iris palette. These shadows need a lot of building, the only shade that is "strong" is gray. Shimmers are dull and not as creamy/pungent as I expected them to be. This is ok for it's price but nothing special.

A little disappointed in this delivery. The color pans do not look like the photos on the website. I can see the similarities but definitely not what I thought I was ordering.

I purchased Gilded Lily because I heard great reviews about the formula. I buy mostly high end eyeshadows and I was honestly very disappointed with this quad. The shimmer shadows looked so nice in the pan but are disappointing on the eyes. The formula overall seems dry and needs a lot of building up. There's lots of other affordable brands with better formulas in my opinion.

I purchased the light pastel/gold quad. Very pretty colors but there is some fallout and pigment of this quad needs building on eyelids. All that, I did not use shadow primer. I've heard other say that these quads are not all created equal. Some are better than others. May purchase another shade in future if on sale.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
