Hot Tools Pro Artist Textured Heat Thermal Tousle Texture Spray

I quite liked this texture spray. I just cut my hair into a short bob and this kind of spray is perfect for my hair style. It does provide texture and some volume. I tried it on its own without any additional product and the results were good! Im not sure about 80% volume as it claims but i did get some lift. The spray comes out powerful but it's an even spread and I've decided I like that, I just don't know how long a bottle is going to last. It's smells pretty good and doesn't leave a lot of residue in the air. If I were to flaw anything.... my hair felt kind of like straw the following day, kind of weird but I just put some dry shampoo in and that fixed the feeling. Lastly I was a bit disappointed in the instructions. The product is for heat protection and texture and volum. The instructions are to put in as your final styling step. So....what does that mean? If it's to protect against heat then to me this doesn't make sense. Typically blow drying isn't the final step which is where I feel the volume would be gained....not before straightening. I tried both, before drying and I also did it after my drying/straightening and massaged in with my finger tips and that was my favorite. I just thought that was a bit of a muddy instruction. I love that it gives me extra volume and texture without leaving any sticky or crunchy residue. It has a very light scent that doesn't compete with my other hair products. I like that the spray nozzle comes out in a fine mist. Even though it provides volume it's not a product that you only use on the crown of your head. It's to be sprayed all over the hair in order to maximize all of the benefits. It's unique that it also provides Heat Protection even though you use it as a finishing step after your hair has been styled. They use ingredients that I am familiar with in skincare that make complete sense that they also benefit your hair in a similar way. I have platinum blonde hair so making sure my hair is protected, especially using any type of heat tools on it is important to me. I like that this has multiple benefits in one little can! I really love this heat protestant way more than I thought I would. I wasn't expecting to get a whole lot of volume or body from this product as my hair tends to stay on the flat side no matter what I use. To my surprise, it does give my hair a noticable amount of volume even after using a straightener which usually doesn't happen for me with other heat protectants I've tried. It feels light, doesn't weigh My hair down and doesn't feel sticky at all. My hair looks full instead of flat when I straighten it with this and I really like the fresh smell too! I also feel like my hair looks shiny and healthier than usual when I use this product. Definitely recommend! I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

This texture spray is super lightweight, and smells great! It doesn't weigh your hair down at all! I love the heat activation, once you use a straightener or curling iron, it gives your hair a nice texture and decent volume as well! The Pro Artist Textured Heat Thermal Tousle Texture Spray works like the name. It does create volume and texture which is great. I noticed it sprays super quick so spraying further away from my head worked better. The scent was just ok but it doesn't last long which is good. I'd say it works like it's described.
