Great face wash...but it didn't remove all of my m

When I wear makeup, 95% of the time I do a full soup to nuts kind of look, using everything from primers, foundation, powders, multiple types of color products (creams or liquids first, then set with the matching or coordinating powder product of the same type, like powder blush to set a liquid or c...ream blush, for example). I also tend to use waterproof eyeliner. So, in my normal face washing routine, I start ith either n oil or Valmont cleanser to first break up the makeup, then I remove the traces of what that leaves behind that foaming or gel cleanser. This Philosophy foaming cleanser does the second step of my nightly cleansing routine very well, but it can't take the place of the first step as far as it's ability to break down and remove a full, semi-professional application of makeup with waterproof or water resistant products. I do find this foaming cleanser is 100% wonderful for my morning shower face wash, where I am simply removing my nighttime skincare products to have a fresh, clean, yet not overstepped face for my daytime skincare products (*and possibly makeup if I choose to wear any that day). My skin feels soft and balanced (not too oily or ry) & I haven't had any breakouts when using it. The fact it's vegan makes me want to add this as my official morning face wash.
