Spritz product onto exposed areas of your scalp 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. To achieve even coverage, part your hair into several sections, and massage product onto scalp. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming and sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours.

Thinking of regular sunscreen it needs to be frequently reapplied. Is the same true for this? If so, how frequent is for daily use and not necessarily swimming?

After you have your base layer, it’s important to reapply your SPF at least every 2 hours, with one exception: if you’ve been swimming, sweating, or towel drying, you should reapply as soon as possible afterward since these activities can decrease the effectiveness of your sunscreen. Note that if you’re using a chemical sunscreen (as opposed to a mineral sunscreen) with non-mineral active ingredients like Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, or Octocrylene, it’s important to wait 15 minutes before more sun exposure to let the sunscreen absorb into your skin.Was this answer helpful to you

Coola's Scalp & Hair Mist SPF 30 is a game-changer for sun protection, especially for those who spend a lot of time outdoors. It provides a lightweight, non-greasy SPF solution for the often-overlooked scalp and hair, which is a huge plus. My son plays soccer and flag football and has light blonde hair. I tried everything to protect his scalp, but they either didn't work or got into his eyes when he sweat. This works amazing. It goes on so easy, doesn't leave his hair greasy (not that it would matter for him). I use it too on my long blonde hair and it works great. I especially like it on my hairline where I can easily burn if I don't bring the sunscreen up high enough. If you're looking for a convenient way to protect your scalp and hair from sun damage without making your hair greasy, this is a fantastic option. While it may be a little pricey, the clean ingredients and effectiveness make it worth it and a little goes a long way.

A Lovely Mist

I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this one. I was mostly intrigued by the concept of this being a hair fragrance and a sunscreen. To be honest, I've never put much thought into 'protecting" my scalp from the sun - it quite literally had never occurred to me and I think it's really smart for Coola to address this and I'm so glad I gave this a try. The hair mist is a great relief for instances like hot sunny beach weather or hiking. It smells clean, though not devoid of the tell-tale "sunscreen" scent - it's refreshing without being too overpowering. The packaging is perfect for travel with a lightweight feel and a kind of comforting minty green. I used this while I was wearing braids and synthetic hair and I don't think it messed with my hairstyle too much - but I would hesitate to use this on days when I'm sporting a blowout. Coincidentally- those days do not coincide with many instances of me getting out in the sun soaked escapades so this product is still a win for me. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Hello everyone! My name is Aleyda and I am an all things beauty enthusiast! I was so excited to be able to try out the COOLA Scalp & Hair Sunscreen & Color Protection Mist with SPF 30. The first thing I noticed was the scent it is very earthy but more tropical and fresh. It reminds me of palm trees by a lake. The scent is light but lasts long and lingers well and I loved that about it. I like the spritzer because it's not messy when spraying but I do think it might spray too much when you're not trying to get it all over. I don't think I've ever tried sun protection on my scalp or hair besides product with heat protectant that I use on a daily bases on my hair. I was a little scared at first because I thought it would make my hair look greasy but it's non greasy and doesn't make my hair look oily. Definitely felt that it helped my scalp stay more fresh due to the sunscreen. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.

This product is great. It keeps my scalp from burning. The scent isnt horrible. The only thing i dont love is how my scalp feels when i put it on. Kinda like hairspray but tacky too. Overall i would recommend this product. I have bought multiple times & made some family buy too!
