if you don't like it, you're removing it wrong
I've been an ultrabland girlie since 2020 and I've never looked back. I used to have terrible cystic acne and tried many things over ten plus years - proactive, curology, dermologica, and every drugstore brand you can think of. None really got rid of my acne, most left my skin feeling patchy, and I was ready to just give up completely. Then I decided to try one last thing and I couldn't be happier it was ultrabland. To those who are like, "omg it won't come off!" DON'T USE WATER, that will make it worse. My full daily routine is swipe on a layer of ultrabland, wipe off with a DRY tissue or towel, then wipe any remnants with Dr. Thayer's toner, and finish up with Burt's Bee's calming day lotion. I was fortunate to have bought this product in store at a lush location so the associate who suggested also suggested a dry wipe followed by toner, so this is me paying it forward since ulta now has it (yay!) but it's online only (boo). Anyway, this leaves my skin feeling soft and so, so much clearer than before. I occasionally will get a blemish or two but they're practically cute compared to the bad boys I used to get.
Doesn't live up to the hype
I wanted to love this cleanser, but it felt like I was rubbing beeswax all over my face, which then didn't come off. I tried various removal methods and all of them left my face feeling suffocated and tacky/sticky and clogged my pores.
Tried and True
Have loved this product for YEARS! I rotate through so many new skin products but nothing breaks down makeup like this. It is so soothing and gentle. If ultrabland has 1000 fans I'm one of them, if ultrabland has 10 fans, I'm one of them, if ultrabland has 0 fans, I've passed on. Perfect first cleanse in a double cleanse routine!
