Cheap but Effective Vitamin C

I've used a "do it yourself" Vitamin C powder before and loved it. It was a different brand that came in a subscription box. It was the first Vitamin C product I actually saw an improvement in my skin. After I ran out, I tried a few more serums, but none of them came close to being as effective as ...

This was so sticky I could not use it

I tried mixing this with two different serums, the Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum and the glow serum from Glossier. In both cases, I first mixed the powder into the serum in the palm of my hand and then applied it to my just washed face and neck. As I applied the mixture it became r...

I love Good Moleucles products, so i had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. I can't speak to how effective it is because I stopped using it after a few uses. It left a weird layer of film over my entire face.

Effective is used correctly

I use this by mixing 2-3 scoops with my body lotion and have had great results for lighting sun damage. However, this product will only be effective if you know how to mix it correctly and which ingredients in skincare it is safe to combine with. This shouldn't be added to products that contain niacinamide (higher ph than vit c is stable at), AHA/BHA (can cause irritation), or retinol (irritation). In order to get rid of the gritty texture you should first put the desired number of scooop on top of the product then spray 1-2 sprays of distilled water or rosewater on top on the pile in you hand, then mix. This helps the vit c properly dissolve into the products and will prevent any gritty texture. Also, be mindful of how many scoops you are using. 2-3 should be fine for your body but if you are combining this with a face product stick to 1 scoop.

Gritty

I wanted to like this because I love Good Molecules but I can never get this to dissolve into any serum or moisturizer (Good Molecules or other brands). It's messy to mix and it always leaves a gritty texture on my skin. I've already purchased a different vitamin C serum.

I've used several different high end vitamin C serums (Ole Hendrickson, Sunday Riley, herbivore, etc) and this is my favorite one. It works really well, lasts for ages and I can easily get 100 percent of the product out with no issues. I get the best results by mixing it with the super peptide serum

After reading a review that said Ulta sold hwr expired GM Vit C Booster, I emailed GM to ask about the one i bought from Ulta. It turns out Ulta sold me one that had already expired TWO YEARS BEFORE! No wonder it didnt work. Very disappointing. Im already past the return period, ao theres nothing I can do except warn others. Dont order this from Ulta, order directly from Good Molecules instead.
