Twist capsule open. Dispense directly into palm. Using fingertips, smooth lightly over skin in the evening. Follow with a moisturizer or other antiaging treatment, if desired. Use once daily as tolerated. For sensitive skin, use 2-3 times per week, then increase use as tolerated, up to once daily.

I suffer from Hyperpigmentation and was told from a worker at Ulta to use the Vitamin C capsules at night after I cleanse, followed by the exuviance glycolic perfecting moisturizer. Will that combo dry my skin out? Also should I be doing this daily?

Instead of the Glycolic Perfecting Moisturizer, we would suggest Overnight Transformation Complex if you are concerned about skin getting dried out. If you have sensitive skin, hard pass on this one ladies! I received sample beads of this serum with another purchase was excited to apply it tonight after my weekly clay mask. Sensitive Skin? Try Mixing it!
This is an extremely effective vitamin C. 20% is the strongest that your skin can actually handle, so just use it with some caution, especially with other actives. It needs to be mixed with a non-active moisturizer if your skin is sensitive like mine. Also, I can only use it once a week because I'm alternating it with the retinol peel approximately three days apart. I also apply the citrafirm oil on top of my moisturizer that I mix it with and it makes my skin have a beautiful glow!
Would not recommend
I have been using vitamin C for a long time and have tried many brands and price points. This is a thicker formula and does not spread or melt i to the skin the way I like. Also makes my skin burn and itch for about 30 mins. I have mildly sensitive skin but I have used other products with higher percentage of vit C without burning. Overall for the price there are better products on the market. I am also not found of the individual capsules, I would much rather have a pump.
Be careful…
If you have sensitive skin, dont use this product. I am 28 years old and very new to the skincare game so i know very little about what works and what doesnt. The vitamin C was very concentrated and caused burning, irritating scaly rashes that developed around my eyes. Good rule of thumb for my sensitive skin girlies, just because it's expensive does not mean itll work better. Try starting out with the inexpensive basics. Your skin will thank you.

I've had this product since November. I bought several Exuviance products at one time since I love their radium serum. This product caused extreme breakouts that I haven't experienced since being a teenager and also with the moisturizer dryed my skin out more… I have never had such a negative experience with any skincare company as I have had with this product. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

I love that this is in capsules because I've tried liquid vitamin C before and often it goes bad before I can use the whole bottle. I use it 3-5 times a week, not daily so this is perfect and stays stable until the end of the bottle. I've re-bought this product and will continue to do so!
