Hi, Can this serum and the Good molecules Brightening serum both mixed together in a bottle and then used? To avoid an extra step, of using them separately.
- Asked by Sunshine
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageWe do not recommend combining the two products into one bottle. Each product has its own preservative system designed to retain the integrity of the specific set of ingredients within each formulation. For maximum efficacy, the products should be layered one over the other. This gives the skin a chance to absorb the intended amount of each ingredient before the next product is applied. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can you use for dark circles around your eyes?
- Asked by Discoloration correcting serum
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThe Discoloration Correcting Serum can be used in the eye area. It can potentially help with dark circles only if they stem from hyperpigmentation. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this be used on any parts of your body where you have dark spots?
- Asked by Kisha
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageWhile the Discoloration Correcting Serum can be used on the body, it is formulated to be used on the face. For better results on the body, we recommend our Discoloration Correcting Body Treatment, which contains the same key ingredient as the serum with the addition of a few other ingredients like LHA and acetyl glucosamine to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin. With this product, we recommend avoiding the eye area and intimate areasWas this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this be used with vitamin C?
- Asked by Steph
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThe Discoloration Correcting Serum can be used with vitamin C. The key ingredients in the serum are cetyl tranexamate mesylate (a tranexamic acid derivative) and niacinamide. Studies show that tranexamic acid is compatible with vitamin C. Outdated research from the 60's has suggested that pure vitamin c, or l-ascorbic acid, cannot be combined with niacinamide but these studies were done using non-stabilized forms of both ingredients. Niacinamide and Vitamin C are safe/stable nowadays and can be used together. Was this answer helpful to you

Keeps my melasma in check without irritation
Thrilled to see Good Molecules at Ulta! I first purchased the *Discoloration Correcting Serum* last year as part of a trio (which included the *Niacinamide Toner* and *Daily Brightening Serum*) to combat melasma as well as hyperpigmentation left by acne rosacea and eczema flares. I'd run out of a pr...

not for sensitive skin
After a lot of trial and error and money spent on quality skincare, I had finally gotten my sensitive skin to a point where it was staying soft, smooth, and relatively hydrated, and I was very pleased. I do have some melasma from intense sun exposure in the past, and it is the one skincare problem I...

Saved my life
This serum saved my skin. I had such dark acne scars that I felt so insecure about. I tried this serum on a whim not expecting much because of how affordable it is. Ive been using it for a year now and my scars are so much lighter and most are completely gone. It only took a month for me to start seeing a difference too! I'll keep purchasing this serum forever.
10/10 product!
I love this product and have put all of my friends on to this product too! The serum is light and not sticky, perfect to integrate into my skincare routine! I have also seen tremendous progress in my skin and my hyperpigmentation has improved drastically.
SO GOOD!
I have used tons of overpriced serums that claim to lighten acne scars & so far this one is the best one I have tried!! I use it 1-2x a day, it absorbs well, isn't greasy but is hydrating, works well with all other products, doesnt pill under makeup, so good!
Great for stretch marks!
I was doing research on things to use on my stretch marks bc I'm insecure about them its slow working yes but it helped fade the redness a lot I mix it with coconut oil and bio oil I use it on my inner thighs too which faded darkness I had if ur patient and consistent it'll work!
It really does exactly what it says on the bottle,..
Love this stuff, it really does brighten the skin & reduce any discolouration patches that skin has, ie sun damage or acne marks etc .. I use it in conjunction with " other Good Molecule serums etc" they all work together beautifully.. I promise you .. you must try it ..,
