Key Ingredients
- Sericin, a protein derived from silk, which seals the hair cuticle to keep out frizz
- Wheat Protein helps reduce hair porosity and tangles, while making strands healthier, shinier and more manageable
Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section, using fingertips to seal and smooth the cuticle from roots to ends. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

This was my perfect gel! The new formula does not work well for me- I feel like I need to use MUCH more per application for the same definition, and the hold does not last all day. Hair Type Wavy Hair
This used to be my holy grail gel. It gave soft defined curls, and looked so beautiful. I used it for 5+ years. Unfortunately as of 1/2025 something has changed. I only get crispy fried looking curls. I've tried multiple bottles as I thought it might just be an issue with one, but the results were the same.

I know products work differently for everyone but for my hair, this gel is by far the best. It does not weigh down my hair making my hair much curlier (I have fine hairs but lots of hair). It also has no smell (I can't stand Curl Pattern for this reason). I went through a period of trying to find something better of maybe the same at a lower price, but this is the one from now on.
Worth the price
My hair is fine and wavy so need to be careful with products that dont weight my hair down and this did not disappoint. Will continue to purchase!.
