Over the past few years, China has removed the requirement to do any animal testing for the great majority of cosmetics sold in the country. Works great, don't like the scent
My hair looks great with this shampoo, even better with the conditioner. I have highlighted hair. I did notice some breakage while using this shampoo, but not significant. The thing i couldnt get past is the smell. It is very herbal (like Aveda shampoo), the conditioner is minty but doesn't cover the strong, lasting herbal smell. I switched to the Stength formula (less breakage and has a pleasent scent). maybe my hair looked better with Hydrate, but can't tolerate the smell.

I like the Pureology Hydrate conditioner but hadn't tried the shampoo so I ordered it recently. The smell is terrible and lingers even after shampooing with a different shampoo the following day. I also found it to be very drying and my hair felt coated and gross. I will return this soon.
Travel size
I bought the travel soze bottle for a trip i went on..they lasted me the week i was gone..decided to try this brand since it is high end..did good for my hair the only thing that i didnt expect was the scent..shampoo is very rosemary and the conditioner has mint just an fyi if you dont like those scents
