I use Mara algae oil for my first cleanse now. Has anyone compared this product? I still get occasional blemishes and don't want to aggravate it. But I've been using other Estee Lauder products with the Mara cleansing oil and am happy. But I like this travel friendly package better

good cleanser
It is a good cleanser, but I don't like the smell. It's so strong for me. I used to use Verite LightLotion cleanser as a morning cleanser, unfortunately, Estee Lauder stopped making it. Seems Verite light lotion didn't bring enough profit to the company.

This is by far my favorite cleansing balm. It does not irritate my VERY sensitive eyes, gets all my makeup off, and leaves my skin so smooth.

This product does well for a first oil-based cleanse to help work out sebaceous filaments and blackheads. I absolutely recommend following up with the Geleé or a foaming cleanser like in the Korean double cleansing method. It was fairly drying to my admittedly dry skin after rinsing without the moisturizing Geleé cleanse. The most heartbreaking aspect of this product though is the sad, cheap plastic packaging. Why!?? The rest of the Advanced Night line has such gorgeous, luxurious glass containers.
I would buy again
Have found it effectively removes make up without drying my already drier skin
