Start with dry hands and face. Glide the spatula lightly across the top of balm to fill the larger part of the disk. Warm up with fingertips and gently massage into skin for about a minute, focusing on areas with more makeup. A little goes a long way. Rinse with warm water, and optional to use a washcloth for a deeper clean.
For a double cleanse ritual, follow with The Rice Polish: Calming. Due to the natural plant extracts that provide skin conditioning benefits, the formula may vary in color from a light blue to a deeper blue. The slight variation in color does not indicate the product is not as safe or effective to use.

Get a drugstore dupe
This works well but ive tried other cleansing balms that work just as well for half the price. Save your money!
Very nice!
This is the first Tatcha product I've tried. It's very nice. Doesn't leave a greasy film on your skin like some makeup removing balms. The packaging is very high end. The only negative is that it takes a little extra effort to remove my mascara (not a waterproof formula). Other than that, I love it.
Absolutely The BEST Face Cleanser!!!
I bought this product as a trial mini awhile back and I was blown away at how fast it melts my makeup off and cleanses my skin so so cleanly! You only need a small amount, like a nickel size, I very gently tap my fingers together to spread the product and then apply it slowly and completely all over my face. I was skeptical at first because it feels like it just melts but it is actually melting the makeup off!!! I am so beyond happy to see Ulta sell the brand line Tatcha! Thank you so much for having such great products!!!
Wonderful Cleansing Balm.
This is a great balm to start your cleansing routine. I'm a big fan of double cleansing with balm and a cleanser. Not only does it start working right away, it starts to melt away your makeup, dirt, oil and other impurities and leaves the skin soft, clean and no stripping of your skin barrier. Comes with a little gold disk to scoop just the right amount. This rivals Clinique's Take the Day Off balm. Definitely a good purchase. Try the Tatcha skincare line. Yes, it's a tad pricey, but you can achieve great results with it.
Good but won't buy again
This product does a great job at melting down makeup and being a decent first cleanse, as long as you don't wear waterproof mascara. I have to do an extra cleanse with a different makeup remover on my eyes so it defeats the purpose of using this.
