I don't know why whomever decided for the smell to be what it is. They made a terrible decision in that, with that said I will be taking this back to exchange for the original. I love this lotion! It's light and fresh with a nice, clean scent. It's very moisturizing and not greasy at all! The only reason I took off one star was for the price. Since I use this all over my entire body every single night out of the shower, I go through it fast. It's still worth how good and soft it makes my skin, but I'm trying to find something similar with a lower price tag while still buying thjs for every now and then.
