Smells HEAVILY like castor oil. Like castor oil mixed with a dab of cream, lol. I smell like a pack of cigarettes- yall know castor oil has that smokey smell. I have 3c/4a curls and I applied this to freshly washed, conditoned damp hair. Its greasy, heavy and feels like it just sits on the hair. It ...

Excellent moisturizer
I purchased this moisturizer for my 4C hair and it did wonders. I am natural and have tried a plethora of different moisturizers that NEVER worked. The roots of my hair needed moisturizing the most. because when My hair that is braided stays moisturized for the most part but my roots never remained moisturized the next day. After using this, I'm on my way back to Ulta to purchase another 1 now that it's on sale. one more thing, it best worked for me when my hair is damp.

I put my hair in twist with this product and left my hair that way for 5 days when I took my hair down it was still soft and I rocked a twist out for another 5 days

It did define my curls but the castor oil and other oils/butters make it so heavy that it just "sat" on my hair, didnt penetrate or moisturize the strands at all. I stopped using oils and oil based products and this reminded me exactly why I stopped. Extremely disappointed. Might work better on blown out hair for a two strand twists but is terrible if applied to damp hair. Definitely returning.
