Absolutely in love with this product
I cannot explain how much i love this product! I Say goodbye to frizz after styling my hair! And The smell is not perfumy
Strongly scented!
The product did provide some additional shine but has a VERY strong, perfumed scent which I don't care for. If scents bother you, I'd skip this one.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
My hair is naturally curly, but I blow dry and flat iron it every week. I've been loving the Kenra Platinum Luxe One Leave-in as my leave-in conditioner and main heat protectant, but this weekend I decided to try the Platinum Pearl Detangler in its place. I saw a lot of reviews here about people not liking the smell, and perhaps that's more of an issue when you apply it to wet hair and leave it to air dry, but I found the scent to be tolerable and it was barely noticeable after I blow dried my hair. I used a generous amount on wet hair and then followed with a little bit of Kenra Blow-Dry Spray heat protectant, as I always do when doing my silk press. The Pearl product left my hair super shiny and silky and soft after my blow dry and flat iron was complete. I didn't use any other products as leave-ins or heat protectants than this and the blow-dry spray. The only other product that gives me this good of a result with the silk press is the other one I mentioned - the Luxe One leave-in which has tiny bits of gold in it. From now own, I will just alternate between the pearl and the gold when doing my silk presses. I love many Kenra products, but not all of them equally, so I wouldn't bother to write a rave review of this if I wasn't truly impressed. 100% satisfaction for this product in a silk press situation!
Miracle Worker
This is the only detangler I've ever used that actually works on my hair! I have incredibly thick and long hair that is pront to knotting very easily. I've tried so many different brands and formulas and none of them have ever worked - until this one. I've used it on both dry and wet hair and it is a true miracle. Bonus points that it smells amazing.
Perfume smell but works well
Hair Type Straight Hair
I have straight, fine, untreated mid back length hair. I went to Ulta to ask for a good leave in conditioner/detangler that would spray on as a mist. I also asked for unscented/fragrance free. They recommended this and I bought it last week. We tried to smell it in the store but there are so msny other fragrances in an Ulta store that it hardly had an odor. So, it works very well, detangles well, but it has a strong perfume odor that lingers in the hair and makes my eyes water. If only it came in an unscented version.
