This is a chemical exfoliator. Best for more delicate skin like your face. The other form of exfoliator is physical. You need physical. Use a body scrub, or dry brush, before shaving. Shaving is key to removing that dead layer of skin that's darker. Ive had the best reults by shaving everyday.
