I like the fact that it's a bit thinner so it doesn't look/feel heavy, i set everso lightly under my eyes with a translucent finely milled powder/ quick dust NO bake. A few things I wish were different.
There's pros and cons for sure. I have light neutral, olive-leaning skin and got the shade light. I find that it leans more pink than neutral. Replaced my elf camo concealer!
Very hydrating and not drying at all. I have oily skin and it wears great with a few touch ups. One pump covers what I need… creasing is not much.
The best concealer
This is the best concealer I've ever used. It applies so smoothly and easily and has good coverage. It doesn't crease at all and it lasts all day.
Absolutely TERRIBLE!
In 50 years of using makeup on myself and applying makeup professionally when I was an aesthetician and theatrical MUA with Nyx products as a usual favorite, I have never found a worse product for under the eye. This insures that your undereyes will look deeply creased and more wrinkled than they actually were when bare. Don't even think about setting this with Nyx's own radiant transucent powder that I usually use with all concealers. It causes the pigment to congeal, turn an ochre mustard color and then actually concretizes into clumps that can only be removed with waterproof eye makeup remover. I use a very light skillful hand with concealer on well prepped skin that I've taken care of all my life and couldn't believe how poorly this performs. Back to KVD concealer for me.
Creases
I do love the formula and how it feels on my undereye skin. It just creases so bad on me within minutes or even after I set with powder throughout the day, it creases even worse :(
Great value!
I rarely take the time to review products but this product wowed me. It is just as good as many high end concealers I have purchased. It can be used as foundation and it's buildable. It has good staying power especially when used with prime and setting spray. Some creasing under the eyes but I have a tendency to crease. It is moisturizing without being greasy or shiny. Definitely give it a try you can't go wrong for this price.
