Best Sunless Tanner

I've been looking for a self tanner for awhile. I've tanned my entire life (over 20+ years) and I can no longer tan b/c I have melasma but I miss my year round summertime glow. I have tried everything from spray tan to airbrush tan to sunless tanners and even though I have an olive complexion EVERYT...HING has turned me orange. I've tried all high end self tanners (including St. Tropez) only to be left trying to scrub it off after the first application because it looks orange, fake or streaky. I read the reviews and although still a little skeptical I'm pretty happy with this product and the results and would definitely buy it again without hesitation. Pros: Did NOT turn me orange. I have a healthy bronze glow. I didn't post any photos only b/c you can't really get a good show in the photos of how it looks in person. It goes on smooth (not sure what the reviews were talking about where it's suggested it feels like spackle or foundation). It was definitely smooth and creamy to me. And I love that it has a pink tint to it so you can see when it's actually rubbed in your skin. You will look a little pink after you apply it (just a heads up). It has a very mild gold shimmer to it, not super noticeable at all but when you go out in the sun, it's really pretty, gives your skin a nice glow. It also kept my skin hydrated. For once I didn't feel dried out from a sunless tanner and I didn't need to apply a body butter the next day b/c this formula kept me feeling moisturized. I'm also excited to say it did NOT stain my clothes or sheets. I did wait a good 15-20 minutes for it to soak in before I dressed. I also did as suggested - I exfoliated my skin before hand. I did allow it to sit on my skin for 24hrs before showering again. When I did shower the tanner did not come off on my puff (soap suds were clean white - no orange or discoloration from tanner coming off my skin) and I shaved after the 1st application. It did not streak or come off from shaving. I put the product on before bed and had a tan by the time I woke up in the morning. I did apply a 2nd application and I'm really happy with my color. I'm going to try 2 more applications to see how dark I can get without it looking fake. I did put 1 application on my face and I'm starting to break out a little (however I have dry, sensitive skin). Con: Only con is the smell, literally. It smells nothing like strawberries at all and definitely smells like a self tanner after a little bit. But if that's my only complaint, it's really not that serious because it gets the job done. Bottom line: Worth the spend.
