Shake can well before using. For lift, spray into damp hair at the scalp and mid shaft areas. Blow dry hair away from scalp.

I have a layered haircut with fine textured hair that is long, heavy and thick. I want volume at the roots but also want a product (besides finishing hairspray)that helps to hold the curl I put in with a curling iron. Is this the product I should use at the roots, and what other product do I use to help hold the curl from midshaft to ends?

If you don't know how volumizing works, and expect no 'product' to actually be there, you don't know how volume is built. It's OK, but that's all.
At first I thought I really liked this product, but I spike my hair & it's just too "wet" for that. I do not use a blow dryer, just spike by hand when my hair is wet, and this product dispenses very "wet" and that makes spiking difficult.

My Hair Finally Has Body!

Having fine and, just more recently, a slight curl (hormones!), my hair has always been hard to fluff up and have volume. I've tried dozens of products and some do help a bit, but this is the only one that really works for me. It gives my hair such a lift and keeps it feeling thicker and holds a style well. Big Sexy Root Pump is always in my arsenal of essential hair products!
Not impressed
I used the smallest amount this morning while upside down, in scalp and near the root, as instructed. I'm guessing through brushing while blow drying it spread a bit? My hair is so dry and dull looking, it feels sticky. And frizzy!! There might be the tinest bit of extra volumn but ill honestly take what i normally have over this. At least my hair normalky looks shiny and healthy. No thanks. Im so glad i only bought the travel size to try it out.
not worth it
I have very short hair and have been using this product for years because it was amazing but i seems like something recently has changed with the new bottles i just purchased. Before my hair had so much volume and now ita heavy, feels like a putty texture is left and gets very heavy. The volume used to last all day and now within an hour im unhappy with how my style tuned out

Discovered this product last year while on vacation in spokane. Went into the local Ulta store and clerks helped me out wonderfully and now can't live without it. I can now style my hair any way I want to. Works great.
