Does the Brilliant Glow Brightening Oil also serve as a heat protectant on hair when using hot straightening and styling tools? I used to have an oil by Joico that was a heat protectant, and I loved it! I can't find it anywhere anymore, and it was the only heat protectant that worked when straightening without tangling my curly frizzy hair. I wish it would be brought back!

I currently have curly blonde hair, I have been using this for years now. Actually used it before I was scrunching curls and was using a flat iron. Love the shine and definitely removes frizz from straight or curly hair. I also add some purple drops to it to keep brassiness under control. You don't need much product to get results.
