Great for thick curly hair!!

I almost never review products...with this I was concerned...with how thick and curly my hair is, I just don't style it. Combing it takes long enough!!! But I wanted to try a style I saw, and while googling for different hair clips, saw this product. At first I thought my hair was too thick, and it ...

Not impressed

I had high hopes for these based on other reviews but they do not work for my hair. I have long and very thick hair...I still need bobby pins and my buns do not stay for long at all. Hair ties and bobby pins work better for me since I don't have to constantly redo my hair.

Only buy these if you want to hopelessly tangle your hair and be unable to get them out again. Not only do they not make a nice bun, they stick out, and then when you want to remove them, it's next to impossible to get them out of your hair. Totally crappy.

Snug, comfortable hold

Love these for all day work shifts, because they secure my long, straight hair in a bun without pulling on my scalp. I can't wear ponytails all day because they will cause too much tension and result in scalp pain and headache.

My hair is thin and wavy so it's hard to find things that stay into. These work wonderful!

By Buns for days

From Los Angeles

I use these for a low bun, then i put a kitsch scrunchie over the bun to give a cute look. I am on my feet hustling, moving, packing unpacking, etc these will not budge. By the end of the day theyre about 20% looser but im telling you im moving vigorously. On a day where im more leisure these babies are totally secure from start to finish. These do not hurt my scalp, i dont need much prep to my hair to use these. I use a light spritz of a texture spray, or a hair spray, sometimes in a pinch dry shampoo and then ill put it into a bun. Those products always help ensure a stronger hold. These bun twists and the Mehron bobby pins are my two ride or dies. Both produce excellent buns that last all day. Mehron bobby pins are more versatile, but if im doing a bun day i usually go for these cork screws. My hair is silky, thinner strands, less amount of hair overall, longer hair down to my mid back, asian hair. These work on my hair.
