Not sure what others got, but this stuff works
I got this as a sample as well & am not sure what people are talking about with it pilling. This stuff is soft, fluffy, thick and fulfilling-like on the skin under my eyes. Dried my eyes out
I tried this in store and was impressed with the tightening effect. However after purchasing it dried my eyes out so badly even after moisturizing skin prep. Made my eyes crease in new ways I've never seen before...I am returning!
Sets Eyes on Fire…
I was hoping this eye cream , which was recommended by an Ulta sales assiciate, would replace the uber-expensive one that I have used for years, but unfortunately, this one is a definite "NO". While a little of this cream goes a long way, if even the smallest amount gets into your eyes, it will cause such discomfort, that you will end up wiping it all away with the tears your eyes produce from the burning. We can all agree that skincare products with retinol are great for slowing down the clock, but should they really be used close to our eyes? Based on my painful (and teary) experience, I think it's probably a bad idea.
Just tried a sample and ran to buy
I just tried this in-store and went home to do my makeup to see how it weathered. I tapped onto my under eyes. They look visibly less puffy & creases less visible- my biggest insecurity. Paired beautifully under my tarte colored clay corrector!
Not sure what others got, but this stuff works
I got this as a sample as well & am not sure what people are talking about with it pilling. This stuff is soft, fluffy, thick and fulfilling-like on the skin under my eyes. You're only suppose to dab it and tap tap tap - not rub it in like a lotion. If you do that with most products meant for sensitive areas like under the eyes, it will most definitely break down. But, i woke up and under my eyes were so bright, so soft & fine lines were GONE. When I wash my face, i use the Tula face wash, the Thayer's face wipes for toner & then this eye cream, serum and then moisturizer. Face hasn't looked better! So, as for ME, this product is amazing. Even my husband complimented me on how much of a difference it made. So, sample try it for yourself first or just buy it. As for the texture, it's thick and does it's job as far as moisturizing. Buy it!
It pills
Disliked this product very much based on the samples. It pills, the texture is weird, I had to wipe it off because it never absorbed
