For a natural finish, you can apply this Covergirl powder directly onto the face. First, dip the puff - or a powder brush if you prefer - into the powder, tapping off any excess to avoid the coverage from being too heavy. Lightly buff the powder into the skin using the puff.
For an airbrushed effect and fuller coverage, first apply your Covergirl foundation of choice and finish off your look by using the loose powder to set your makeup. Follow the same steps as mentioned above to apply the powder, buffing more into the skin if desired.
Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a poison center/doctor if you feel unwell. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Store locked up. I like it
I'm surprised this has so many bad reviews, I love this powder and like many others have said, I've been using it for over 10 years, their foundation and powder is great price and works for me well. Sometimes aging skin has to change foundations so I know eventually I might have to, but not for now. Alot of complaints about the applicator, but typically inexpensive makeup doesn't have a great tool to apply, idk why we aren't all tapping it into the lid and using a brush and pressing it in after with the powder pad. Aging skin may not prefer the same old application process you've always used, and might need an upgrade.
Too heavy
If you're looking for a lightweight translucent powder, this is not it. This powder is too heavy and does not blend well. Disappointing
Too dry
Made makeup crack and cake up. Did not work well as a setting powder.

This powder is smooth and light! It really did what it was supposed to do as far as a translucent powder. I love that it wasn't super sticky when applied. The range of colors to choose from also make this a great powder.

Wow, this stuff is just horrible! I use to love the smell when I opened a brand new compact and not only does it not have any clean smell anymore the compact is as cheap as they can make it. The writing on it is cheap looking. it's absolutely horrible! Why would you change a good thing?! I loved the compact from years ago when it was slimmer and actually had some weight to it and the smell was amazing. Please bring back the old formula as you can tell everyone hates this!
