The price for one is a great buy and it works just like any other expensive sharpener! I won't be buying anymore expensive sharpeners when I can just buy this one for a few bucks. It also like the 2 different size makeup pencils that I can sharpen

I bought this sharpener for the lid to catch shavings, which unfortunately will probably break off soon because it is very cheaply made. Great product, easy to use
Save your money
Worst sharpener I've used. Doesn't shapren to a point or to anything. It's just a dull mess that you get after shaving down half your pencil realizing this sharpener is really just awful.
Does not work well
My old sharpener was getting dull so I picked this one up. Does not work well. Right out of the box it should be good and sharp but I struggled to turn the pencil to sharpen it. The lid is hinged which in theory is nice to keep it from falling into the trash. But it doesn't open wide enough to clear out the debris. I feel like this was a waste of money.

Not sure why there are alot of 5 stars, this sucks! Completely broke off my gel liner! Not worth it! I'd recommend Revlon Universal Points Sharpener for Wooden & Plastic Makeup Pencils.
Finally found a good sharpener
Love this sharpener. I've purchased a couple in the past that fell apart or after a couple uses did not work as well. This one is great quality for a decent price. Highly recommend.
