Use on soaking wet hair, right out of the shower. Take a small amount of product, just a dime-size per hair section, and rub it between your palms. Smooth it on the strands and all the way down to the ends, using the "prayer hands" method. Scrunch gently upwards with a microfiber towel to help the curls spring back, then air dry or diffuse your hair as normal. When fully dry, scrunch again to break the cast. No residue, greasiness or crunch.

How To Use
Step 1
Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair with the “praying hands” method, smoothing from top to ends.
Step 2
Flip your head upside down and scrunch gently with upwards motions to encourage curl to spring back and form their pattern.
Step 3
Air dry or diffuse. Make sure you flip your head in all directions while drying to increase volume. Do not touch hair while drying.
Step 4
Once completely dry, scrunch again to 'break the cast', the crunchy feeling gels greate, and make your hair super soft and bouncy.

Apply all your leave-in products (conditioners, creams, foams and gels) on soaking wet hair - this will help the product spread more easily and coat the curls evenly instead of being patchy!

I have 2a hair, and this product is the only one that gives my hair some type of styling curl. This is the fourth time I have purchased it because nothing else seems to give me that type of curl. I wish the curls last a bit longer; usually, on day three, my hair starts to fall flat and a bit frizzy. I love it because it doesn't leave your hair crunchy at all, and it smells so yummy. But they can definitely do something about the frizz.

I have 2c/3a curls and this gel had great hold and frizz control. But I absolutely could not stand the texture of my hair with this product on it. It dried like a wax; way too stiff and couldn't run my fingers through at all. Maybe just not right for my hair texture.

I really like this styling product. Its light, a little goes a long way and the finish is shiny and moves. I would buy again. The tub is the size I purchased, and for me, its easier to use to distribute through my hair. I have curly hair and it allows for the curls to spiral and bounce and I really like that. Plus the tub is easy to travel with in my suitcase.

This styling gel is great for all day hold, but each time I used it my hair was less shiny than usual. I'm just making this note so I don't accidentally buy it again, because I love Curlsmith products!
Great fir curly hair with a lot of frizz!
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I love this product. Defines curls perfectly! I put it all over. Way more product than they recommend as us curly hair people do. Then I diffuse until mostly dry, let the rest air dry, and scrunch the crispness away. Holds even in humid weather. I only like the large size that squeezes out. Sticking my hand in the jar grosses me out a bit, and gets hair in it when I reach in for more. So go big! There is not a lot on the market that provides this much hold without major stiffness. Reactivates well with a little water for day 2, 3,....4.
