I had one of these years ago, and wanted to purchase a new one. First thing I noticed was that the handle is cheap plastic. They used to be made of wood, and still should be with the steep price. Wanted to love it but the nylon bristles felt like razor blades against my scalp. Maybe if they were rounded off a bit it would have been more bearable. I purchased this brush with the intent to help carry the natural oils down my hair shafts and not so much for detangling.

A lot of people buy these as a more affordable Mason Pearson alternative, but in my opinion the quality of this brush isnt worth it.
