I was looking for a gentle exfoliating wash and this is it! Not too granular and doesn't feel like it's tearing your skin. Does feel effective at removing that dull layer.
It really works
Skins feels better after a single use? Color me skeptical. I have sensitive, dry skin. I got a deluxe sample with an Ulta order. I didnt use it for awhile because I'd never heard of or used a powder exfoliant before. But the first time I used it, my skin felt sooo soft afterward. No irritation. Truly gentle enough for daily use. My skin always feels softer and smoother after using it. I will buy the fullsized when this little bottle runs out. I find the smell mildy off-putting, i think its the powdered oat milk (smells kinda like a baby?) but that's my only complaint.
Fish scent and horrible packaging
I tried the OG daily exfoliant in a travel size and loved it but decided on this one because it was more gentle but I wish I didn't. This large size is a horribly packaged. I kept it in the bathroom on my counter for two weeks and somehow it got noisture in it, despite my best efforts it was unavoidable. Once that happens the product inside smelled like straight up fish. Disgusting. For a product this expensive, they should be ashamed. Do better!
Love love love
First encountered this during a facial and would never have known it was an exfoliant if the esthetician hadn't said so since it's so gentle. While gentle, it really does get the job done and my skin feels so soft and smooth after use. I have sensitive skin and haven't encountered any issues with this product since I began using it, and I use it every day after cleansing. Pricey but you need to use so little that the cost balances out for me. This has definitely become a new holy grail product in my routine for gentle but effective and sensitive skin-friendly exfoliation. If you're on the fence, I'd recommend buying the mini size of this first and then committing to the larger one once you're confident - that's what I did and now I keep this full size one at home and use the mini for traveling :)
Wanted to love this
I really wanted to love this product, as most of the other products I have from this brand are amazing. Unfortunately other than it making my skin softer it did more harm than anything. I know after exfoliation you are likely to break out but I had more acne after using it than ever before. My sister had the same experience as me.
