Very harsh
I bought it cause i get a lot of ingrown hairs. Unfortunately I've never used one before, it's my first one, so my skin probably isn't used to it. I think it's very hard and use it wet which helps just a little , but still rough.
Gentle Exfoliation (And an alternative to picking!)
I purchased this product due to the positive experience I had with another of Earth Therapeutics' products, the "Silicone & Bamboo Soft Body Brush". Unlike the "Silicone & Bamboo Soft Body Brush", the bristles on the Dry Body Brush are what I would defien as a "soft scratch". Make no mistake, the bristles are soft, they just aren't "silicone soft". The reason I purchased this brush is so that I would have something gentle to use to exofiate when I was NOT in the shower. I have also found that this product is a great alternative to scratching at my arms or shoulders, so if you are someone that is fighting against picking at their skin, I HIGHLY recommend this brush. It's firm enough to get the itch and you avoid putting more "moon shaped scars" in your skin. The bamboo is smooth and easy to hold. The strap doesn't do much for me if I just slide my hand underneath it, but if I put my hand in between the "hole" of the strap then it does provide additional support. (Please see picture.) The bristles don't leave any unsightly marks on my skin, making it very comfortable to use. I have found better results using this brush in tandem with my topical skin care products, I just make sure I use the brush BEFORE I apply anything to my skin to avoid getting the bristles mucked up with product.
Excellent Cleansing Brush

Strap is useless
The brush is okay. Vegan is just a more PC way of saying synthetic. The strap is so loose, it does not help it stay on my hand.
