For best results, apply foundation after moisturizer. Start with just a half-pump; this formula is so concentrated, a little goes a long way. - Official Answer By Clinique USThere is not a shade CN 42 in the Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation SPF 25. We do offer a CN 40 Cream Chamois. For one shade darker choose CN 52 Neutral. Hi, I wear the even better with serum. I have un even dry skin that's aging. I need a shade lighter since it's winter. Also, what concealer do you recommend as well? Thanks I know natural bluff in loreals true match is about the right shade at the moment. I'd rather have the correct shade in Clinique.

It's not the right foundation for me
I have worn this foundation in the past, but since I've gotten older, it's not the right foundation for me any longer. I tried it, but it's not working right for me.
Why did I even give this foundation a chance?
This clinique foundation is so bad from the start. Only pro was it did have a shade that matched my skin tone perfectly. But once you pour it on your hand to apply it to your face with a sponge or a brush, it dries up SO fast making application and the actual look of the foundation so horrible. Waste of money and not going near clinique anymore, not good quality of make up in general.
I tried so hard!
I have used almost every clinqie foundation.. so when this was an option for a free gift for going diamond, it was an easy choice for me! Right when I put it on.. I was loving it. It looked amazing! About 30 minutes later I noticed it had separated on my skin already and was looking super cakey. I thought.. maybe it was the powder, maybe it was primer? I tried so many different combinations with no luck. Today I tried , again. I put it on. Looked great, noticed about an hour later it had separated in multiple spots but only near my under eyes and nose.. blurred them out and forgot about it. I looked into the mirror about 8 hours later… and I HAVE NEVER SEEN MY MAKEUP SO BAD. I was so embarrassed. Never have had this experience with Clinque before so came to read reviews.. glad im not alone! Would love to know HOW people get this to work .. and I would keep your receipt for this and be cautious.

color matched my skin perfectly and dries down a tad bit darker. I'm medium warm- neutral olive. leaving more warm in the summer and neutral in winter. the foundation felt weightless on my skin and lasted a full 12 hours. no cakey creasing in my fine lines at all. set with setting powder and spray.

I loved this foundation, I was debating about getting it but there is no debating next time this for sure will be my go too! It feels light weight and full coverage.
