After washing and sectioning, I apply this product after leave-in, work it through, and ploop. Gorgeous!! Finish wish a cream gel and I have the softest, shiny springy spiral curls for a week. Scent is not a win, but it fades fast and fully.

I have fine, high density, low porosity, low oil/sebum 3B spiral curls. I almost didn't buy this because of reviews claiming it smells bad. NOT TRUE as of the date of this review. It has an initial scent that fades quickly while nourished curls last days!

I want to love this product so much. It makes my 2C-3A hair look amazing when layered under gel. BUT - it smells like cat pee. I'm not sure why Paul Mitchell hates curly haired people enough to make a product smell this awful.
