I had the opportunity to test out BeautyBio's Glow Facial - Hydration Facial Pore Cleansing Tool with Blue LED in exchange for my honest review (gifted by BeautyBio). Thus far, I used this tool every 3 days for a period of two weeks. I liked that this product came with everything you needed to rea...lly get the full results. It comes with the GloFacial tool, a large treatment tip, a small treatment tip, clarifying tip, GloFacial concentrate (a salicylic and hyaluronic acid solution), and the charging stand. This would make it the perfect gift for a skin care lover, especially for this who are interested in at home treatments. I found that it was easy to put together, the directions were clear on the ratio the GloFacial concentrate to water (and it's clearly marked on the tool). The directions were helpful with providing the suggested facial pathway to use the tool. It was easy to clean the tool using the included brush. The charging took a couple hours, once fully charged I didn't need to recharge it at all during the 2 weeks I used it. This tool is pretty strong (even on the lowest setting). It is truly like a vacuum for your pores. That being said, I didn't think it was too harsh for what it's supposed to do. While this tool is not hard to use, I do think there is a bit if an initial learning curve. You have to keep the tool in a vertical fashion, while holding your skin taut and moving in a fluid way so not to be on one spot for too long. It's not difficult once you practice a few times. I really appreciated that there were 3 different tips. I used them all for their respective functions. The large tip worked well for larger areas of my face (forehead, cheeks), while the small tip worked well for the more curved parts of my face (nose, chin, in between my eyebrows). The clarifying tip was perfect for those in between days where I only was using the blue light. The tool was comfortable to hold in my hands. I found the tool was quite easy to clean and take care of. It comes with a brush that allows you to effectively clean the discharge tank. My routine is: I double cleanse every evening starting with an oil cleanser on dry skin, I will emulsify it then rinse. I follow this with a gel based cleanser. At this point I will jump in the shower and allow the steam to open up my pores, once done with showering, then I would use this GloFacial Tool. In terms of effectiveness, I did notice that it has helped even out my skin and it has reduced any excess oil. Immediately after the treatment my skin was flushed (normal for the type of treatment), the next day my skin was so vibrant, clear, and honestly had a bit of a glow. I really appreciate that this tool can be used with just water or you can use the GloFacial concentrate w/water for additional results. Overall, I'd recommend this if you are a skincare enthusiast and are looking to invest in at home facials for yourself. The tool is effective and will allow. You to level up your skincare routine. I think this could be a great gift for a close friend who loves facials and/or skincare.
