What is the difference between the gloss drops and the super skinny serum?
- Asked by Molly
- Official Answer By Paul MitchellSuper Skinny Serum is designed to be applied to damp hair as a blowout primer. This product helps speed up dry time and gives humidity resistant, silky-smooth results. Gloss Drops is best used on dry hair as a frizz-free finishing polish. Gloss drops also resist humidity and gives a boost of shine when added to other products. Was this answer helpful to you

Does this product take the place of Paul Mitchell "Foaming Pommade"? Or do you still make foaming pommade?
- Asked by Meg
- Official Answer By Paul MitchellAlthough John Paul Mitchell Systems still carries Foaming Pomade it is not currently available at Ulta and Gloss Drops would not be a suitable replacement. Foaming Pomade is a very unique product and at this time we do not have anything we could recommend replacing it.Was this answer helpful to you

I would (and I do) buy this product again and again...
I use the PM skinny serum (fantastic detangler) while my hair is still wet and follow up with PM smoothing gloss drops on the ends of my hair. What I love about the gloss drops is you can apply while your hair is wet or after it has dried (which is safer for me because I have fine hair and if I use ...

Turned my hair into an oil slick
I usually really like Paul Mitchell products, but this one was a bust. Nothing ticks me off more than to spend time blowing out my hair to put something like this on it (in hopes of taming the fly-aways) and it completely ruins my style. These 'glass drops' do nothing more than add a layer of grea...

Used to love but where did the bad smell come from?
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This used to be one of my favorite products to apply before blow drying and then afterwards to tame any flyaways. But over the last year there must have been a product change because the smell is sooooo bad. Please fix it!

Wet thick gloss and a little goes along way. Great for excessive shine and helps fight humidity and frizz. Using on dry hair before heating tools for a beautiful finish. The scent is so nice!
I will buy again.

Stinks
It stinks. It doesn't work. It makes your hair greasy and heavy and they changed the pump so all it does is leaks dont waste your money. It is not worth it to pay this much for a bottle that constantly leaks and waste all over the place.
TRY OR DON'T TRY
I have been using this product for a couple months now and it's okay. Definitely leaves a burnt odor to your hair after using styling products. Even after cleansing hair, the smell still stays. I stopped using it for two weeks before the smell disappeared. It does control frizz, makes your hair soft, and makes your hair feel lightweight. It will be greasy the next day though.
