The long barrel is ideal for longer hair, as it provides more room for the hair to wrap around. The width and curl result will be the same between both barrels. Breakage Everywhere

I seriously loved this tool but i quickly realized after only 3-4 uses it was damaging my hair… we're talking breakage starting 2-3inches from my roots and all the way to my ends. I have fly-away pieces that I've never had. I use K18 & heat protectant. The issue is that the stand is a singular metal piece built into the brush—shaped as a comb. There's no way to use the tool without wrapping your hair around this part and it ultimately cuts your hair even without high heat.
